1995 BMW R100 Mystic - low miles - $6000
Last year of the air-cooled 247 motor from BMW. The Mystic a hybrid bike with almost GS level travel but a lower seat height and the body work is starting to represent a more modern BMW. Seems like a great machine for someone looking for a tourer and a lower seat height than a GS. Tubeless wheels are a bonus, dual caliper front brakes 1000cc’s of torque and extremely low miles, not sure why this hasn’t sold. 1978 BMW R100RS - $4990
A BMW classic in a rare color for sale at San Jose BMW. This was the first full fairing motorcycle and was wind tunnel tested. The airheads are one of the only older bikes that can still do it in my opinion. Simple to work on, can be ridden all day reliably and a lot of them come with luggage and are comfortable two up. Late 70's bikes had the best squish band as well. Check it out on Craigslist.

Project bike for sale down in San Jose. Lots of new parts included with the sale, bike is currently non oped and ready to be built into whatever cafe/scrambler bike you desire. Note the subframe appears to be cut for a single seat. Late 70's bikes have the best squishband pistons and heads of the airhead bikes for a clean burn in the combustion chamber. 1981 BMW R80 G/S - $9500
First year R80 G/S for sale in the Columbus Ohio area. Appears to be largely stock with good rider upgrades like the Wilbers shock and handgaurds for riding offroad. I don't think they make that rear tire anymore so might be a good idea to replace if purchased for riding. Great collector quality since it's mostly stock or ride it to Patagonia.
