Never have I ever, seen someone put a shift assist on an airhead, I’m surprised it works the are so clunky! This thing seems cheap, make sure the heads have been gone through and trans will need a rebuild in the future as well. Paint looks great! For sale in Washington on Craigslist.

1964 BMW R60/2 W/ engine swap - $11000
Slash 2 looks with a bonus enormous touring tank with later airhead reliability. The earlier BMW /2 bikes don’t have an oil filter making engine maintenance more in depth from time to time. Lots of bells and whistles attached to this bike for touring, looks like a hell of a lot of fun to me. For sale in Austin on Craigslist.
BMW F650 Dakar, YZ Front End, Ohlins- $3250
Closer to how it was when this chassis raced and won Dakar. Bullet proof Austrian power plant by Rotax and now it has proper suspension and relatively inexpensive! For sale in Clearlake area on Craigslist.

BMW 1995 R100RT - $5500
Last of the airheads! I personally have one of these bikes and it’s amazing. Does it all so well, this one seems to be well cared for and has had some of the good hard to do maintenance done, spline lube. Comes with panniers, crash bars, and updated mufflers. For sale in Chicago area on Craigslist.
1986 BMW R65 - $4900
Rare bird up for sale, they did not make many R65 monolever bikes, all the modern goodies with the lightweight, easy riding, low seat R65 set up. Less horsepower than it’s bigger displacement cousins but puts out plenty of horsepower for most things. You don’t need 1000cc’s to motor around town. For sale in Milwaukee area on Craigslist.

Sidecar Motorcycle BMW - $4500
CBR rear engine swapped K75 with limited slip chain drive?! Wow quite the build, needs some aesthetic work but sounds like it would be fun to ride. Hell, add a turbo. For sale in Venice on Craigslist.
1978 BMW R100s - $5000
Cheapest one i’ve seen in a while and appears to be in great shape, paint looks original, no details on mileage unfortunately. Some think that the r100s paint job was the peak of paint work from BMW. For sale in the East bay on Craigslist.
1985 R80RT BMW Airhead - $3500
Seller is thinning the herd. Tons of work recently done and low miles on the airhead, the 80 motors are known to be smoother than the 100’s although a few less horsepower. Check this one out in the Portland area on Craigslist.
1983 BMW R80ST - $4000

1966 BMW R90/2 with Sidecar - $15000
Engine swap and Ural side car. This show quality bike also comes with a bigger hard to find touring tank and period correct fairing. Lotta miles but looks like it’s gotten a lot of care as well. Not collectible with an engine swap but very practical as these engines have an oil filter unlike the older engines For sale in southern Washington on Craigslist.
1993 BMW R100 - $3700
Factory addition of the RS fairing claims the post, dealers used to be cool and do stuff like this. Interesting combo of the first wind tested fairing on the most modern airhead chassis and suspension. The RS fairing is amazing if you have never owned one. For sale in the Seattle area on Craigslist.
1971 BMW R60/5 - $2995
A /5 under 3k with under 30k miles!? Great deal and long term enjoyment to be had with this /5. Likely gone through since it’s at a dealer, someone please go take those mirrors and throw them out the window. Even comes with classic crash guards. For sale in Colorado on Craigslist.
1971 BMW R50/5 - $5950
Small bore /5 toaster tank which had a $10k restoration in 2015. Everything works as it should and mileage sits at under 25k, unclear if that’s total or since the restoration. I would call this a resto mod as the frame and subframe have been painted and the seat are not factory colors. For sale in Norcal in Georgetown on Craigslist.
