Very well sorted R100GS (non dakar model) for sale in Colorado on Craigslist. Been for sale for a while because you have to be a lover of yellow if that wasnt obvious. This bike has been recently restored with R100S big valve heads that have excellent squish as well as paint, wheel bearings, rims, and so much more in the link.
1981 BMW R100RT Excellent Condition - $4,750
A cherry example of a red smoke RT, fairing was removed (does it come with the bike?) and is running in it’s summer trim. Seller notes that it has been meticulously maintained and runs perfect. Tons of new parts, and long maintenance history. For sale in Los Altos on Craigslist.
1976 BMW R90S Daytona Orange - Auction
76 R90S that’s quite a looker! Partially repainted, side panels and new front cowl painted and installed in the last 4k miles. Push rod tubes replaced and head bead blasted and inspected, rear main seal replaced as well as the clutch while in there. Basically all the usual suspects have been sorted which is nice. For sale in Michigan on eBay.
1978 BMW R100S - $6995 OBO
First year of the punched out 1000CC version of the R90S with redesigned heads and more CC’s making more power. Also they went back to Bing carbs instead of Dellorto’s on the R90S bikes. The bike looks very sleek in all black but there aren’t many details in the ad. Mileage might read *90000 miles? Worth reaching out if you are looking for an S. For sale in Las Vegas on eBay.
1984 BMW R80ST 20K miles - $5,500
Just posted, street version of the R80G/S that doesn’t command the crazed prices of the G/S bikes for some reason. These things are light and nimble and can do it all. For sale in San Jose on Craigslist.
1995 BMW R100 GSPD - $7,000
Last year of the airhead and of the simple GS bikes that are easy to fix on the side of the road. 10 gallon Dakar style touring tank came standard on these and this one also come with factory panniers. Heated grips not working (check the fuse?) and there is a slight gasket leak from the oil pan. No mention of transmission circlip install or of any other major maintenance. The paralever bikes do better on the road but are a bit more complex than than monolever bikes. For sale in Belmont on Craigslist.
1979 BMW R100RS - Auction
Low miles on this RS, quite scratched up which is sad as this color is absolutely stunning. Battery is new, carbs have been cleaned, timing & valves have been set, oil and filter changed, front brake fluid flushed. Excellent running condition. Early RS bikes had bigger carbs and loved to go fast! For sale in Vero Beach on Craigslist.
1983 BMW R80RT - $4,400
Low miles and recently gone through RT for sale. All new fluids, clutch replaced, timing chain replaced, battery, filters, and the list goes on. Worth checking out if you are looking for a rider quality bike for a good price. For sale in Vallejo on Craigslist.
1982 R100RS - Excellent Condition - $6,500
R90S themed paint on this R100RS and it looks sharp! Its looks to be in excellent condition, fairing not scratched up like a lot of the RS bikes you see for sale. Tons of upgrades and maintenance records including some of the difficult stuff like spline lubrication and new tires and bearings. Seems cheap for how cherry it is, for sale in Palo Alto on Craigslist.
1973 BMW R75/5 - Auction
The first photo in the auction really doesn’t do this bike justice. Excellent condition paint and desirable toaster tank. This bike has low miles, has some upgrades and includes factory Krauser luggage. For sale in Vermont on eBay.
1968 BMW R50/2 frame + 1974 R75/6 engine + mystery sidecar - Auction (ends in 2+ hours)
Cool BMW R50/2 with later 247 engine which gets you an oil filter and simpler maintenance. Seems to still have some electrical gremlins to workout but beautiful tank and the engine swap does make these a little more practical. For sale in New Orleans on eBay, ending soon!
1976 BMW R90S Daytona Orange - Auction
Clean title but doesn’t run. The original owner said the bike was parked when the starter went out. Definitely a project but the paint matched aftermarket fairing is pretty awesome on this one. Some knicks in the paint here and there but hard to find a low mile S for this cheap. At auction on eBay in Wisconsin.
1978 BMW R100RS Motorsport - $8,250
The RS looks great in almost every color they chose for those beautiful fairings but this one always looked great with that touch of red on the front. Not a garage queen has a small crack in the fairing but it does have very low miles for it's age and comes with rare white Krauser bags. For sale in Denver on Craigslist.
1966 BMW R90 /6 with sidecar - $18,000
Beautiful /2 with R90/6 motor swap and side car rig. Big touring tank (Hoske?) included and appears to come from a very tidy home which is a plus. For sale in Portland on Craigslist.
Submission | 1983 BMW R100RS airhead - $4,200
Higher miles on this airhead but has recently been gone through. Valves adjusted, carbs synced, and new tires and master cylinder recently. Higher miles with no mention of transmission rebuild or head work. Good to check in before purchase. For sale east of Sacramento on Craigslist.
1991 BMW K75s - $3,900
Not sure if this is a factory color on the K75S but it looks great on the early 90’s angular body work. Corbin seat and full bag setup for touring with expanding tank bag handy for laying down on during those long hauls. Low mile bike and ready for a new rider, for sale in southern California on Craigslist.
1982 BMW R100 RS Touring - $9,000
One of the most difficult paint jobs that came after the R90S models and unmatched it it’s quality. They really knew how to paint them back then. Top spec motor in this model and paint matched solo seat on this bike with very low miles. For sale in Seattle area on Craigslist.
Bmw R80 st - $3,000
Low mileage R80ST project for sale in Emeryville on Craigslist. Will likely go fast as the Monolever bikes are the best airheads in my opinion. Needs some wiring and the owner has gone through one side of the motor but not the other? Worth taking a look at if miles are correct.
