1972 Kawasaki 750 H2 - $8500

Vintage racer, these things would do 12 seconds flat in the quarter mile stock. Famously hard to handle with too much motor and not enough suspension and brakes. Paint looks great and correct but seller doesn't mention little parts that need to be sorted for %100 resto. For sale in the Chicago area on Craigslist.

Another one popped up in Torrance, Ca for almost twice as much money. Also restored; on Craigslist.

Gus Kuhn Norton Commando 1974 - Vintage Racer Revived

Beautiful example of a 70's race bike completely rebuilt and has 2 miles on it! Great description from the seller, seems to know the history.

I'm selling my Gus Kuhn Norton Commando 850. I've had this bike for four years and have gone through it completely, much with the help of Rabers in San Jose, the most respected British shop of the Bay Area. I have renewed or replaced pretty much every part of this motorcycle to make it into a almost-totally-correct, but totally rideable racing Commando. The bike was raced and put away, in not great shape about 1990. It was sold at an auction in Sturgis, then lived in Sacramento in a collection for some time. All of the bits were drilled, and when I got it apart, it was pretty obvious that it was ridden hard and I had more work to do to get it going well again than I had bargained for. Rabers took thousands off of me (for their great work!) Big items done: - Powder coated frame - Rebuilt transmission - Rebuilt Bottom end - Rebuilt top end - New electrical harness, electronic ignition - New tires/brake shoes/chain - New master brake cylinder - Coated fiberglass tank to resist California ethanol.

The seller has 15k in receipts from Rabers, Norcal's premier restorer of british bikes. For sale on eBay here.

SOLD: Restored Dover White BMW r50/2

Coming out of dry storage for 30 years this low mile R50/2 had a complete restoration in the early 80's. Said to have gotten a full engine and tranny rebuild with genuine BMW parts with only a couple of thousand miles since the rebuild. Has been started regularly and has had oil changes but needs tires and a tune up to be ready to ride. Seems like a really nice example of a vintage bimmer that needs a new home. Offered for sale in the Chicago area on Craigslist for $10k.

Bonus trailer that needs running gear?
