Top of the line of Laverda triples when introduced with a focus on sport touring performance and comfort. A remarkable example of a unique Italian sport touring bike in very clean condition … a great addition to any serious collection and an exciting machine to ride. For sale in San Francisco on Craigslist.
1978 BMW R100S - $4,500
Just posted, this was the top dog when it came to power in the airheads, these have the best head casting design and made the most power of any airhead motor. There are some maintenance records in the post and some other bits that come with the bike like a new front bikini fairing but it’s unpainted. No mention of the original tool kit!? For sale in Oakland on Craigslist.
1978 BMW R100RS - $6,000
High miles but lots of maintenance on this one. Engine has re-machined heads, new cylinders, new pistons, new lifters, relatively new camshaft. Front and rear brake calipers have been rebuilt with new pistons and pads. Brake lines have all been replaced with steel braided cable. Front and rear brake master cylinders have both been rebuilt. Beautiful repaint but missing the pinstripes. For sale in Seattle area on Craigslist.
1981 BMW R100CS airhead - $4,600
Very limited run bike of only 600 units from BMW. I believe this is the quickest airhead. This one is a little banged up and needs a lot of work but worth saving! Perhaps the seller is willing to negotiate? For sale in West Sonoma on Craigslist.
2001 Suzuki Bandit GSF 1200 - $3,900
last of the aircooled “sport touring” muscle bikes from Suzuki. Basically a naked air cool sport bike. Love the visual engine design on these and they sound amazing and go like hell. For sale in Portland on Craigslist.
1981 BMW R100RT - $4,000
R100RT, the green machine. Recently serviced and inspected in Bend Oregon. Beautiful 80’s BMW paint job still looks great for it’s age and the mileage. Brand new battery and tires which is a plus, just jump on it and tour! The one also comes with original Krauser bags. For sale close to Bend Or on Craigslist.
1983 BMW R65LS Airhead - $4,500
Under 10k original miles on this Hans Muth designed R65LS. The futuristic design is growing on me, I have to say. Very original other than bars that have been changed to regular higher R65 bars. Seller is offloading his toys so this has to go. For sale in Hayward on Craigslist.
Honda CB 750 1972 - $4900 OBO
Very low miles on this CB750, great paint and custom paint graphic on the tank is hilarious and amazing. The seller has a paint matched helmet as well to sweeten the deal. This is one of the early “sport bikes” with 4 cylinders, high revs, and Honda reliability. For sale in Saratoga on Craigslist.
1982 BMW R100RS - $3,000
Grey smoke RS, tourers love they have a rear disc but this does add a bit of weight. 59k miles and comes with a comfy saddle, panniers and some extras. The bike has had maintenance done as you can see nice fuel lines added. For sale in Petaluma on Craigslist and cheap for an RS.
BMW K75S - $4,000
Excellent paint on this late 80’s beauty. Original condition other than front fairing removed but is included. These bikes were built like tanks in all the areas that matter. It appears the odometer might not be working but the paint looks great on this one and it comes with a comfy aftermarket Corbin seat. For sale in Redwood City/Aptos on Craigslist.
BMW K75 - $4,800
Lots of goodies on this one, panniers, fairing, Corbin seat, and low miles. Looks very clean although fairing color doesn’t look like it quite matches. Premium price but one that is ready to ride anywhere, prices are up on all assets so maybe it’s justified? What say you? For sale in Texas on Craigslist, CO title.
1987 bmw k75c - $2,600
Freshly painted and installed rare Krauser fairing on the K75 make for a sharp touring machine. Extremely low miles and 3 bags will take you a long way. For sale in a Chicago suburb on Craigslist. Round headlights forever.
1977 BMW R100rs - $7,500
Not much info other than new paint (looks great) and lots of new parts. 45k miles but you wouldn’t know it, runs great and ready for a new rider or collection. First year of the RS. For sale in Novato on Craigslist.
1988 BMW r100rs cafe custom - $6,250
I’m not a cafe person but have seen a few lately that have really caught my eye including this build. The removal of the RS fairing is a shame to me because they are so amazing in the wind but this bikini fairing really mounted well and works with the lines of this metallic white RS. Dropping the luggage racks would add a lot too. Dellorto pumper carbs have also been added which is an expensive and nice upgrade and nod to the R90S. For sale in Sacramento on Craigslist.
1993 Honda VFR 750 - $4,000
Gear driven cams aka race motor tech in this 90’s sport tourer. Such an under appreciated motor and you can have this one on the cheap! Lots of maintenance records and upgrades. New clutch, rebuilt slave cylinder, galfer Stainless steel brakes lines front and rear and new pads, new Michelin Road 5 GT rear tire, new Rear sprocket, oil change w/ full service, delkevic high mount slip-on exhaust (original muffler included w/ sale), after rear seat cowl by AirTech also included, and vintage Lockart-Phillips Racing tank bra. For sale in Concord CA on Craigslist.
1977 BMW R100S - $5,500
Clean original condition R100S for sale in Portland on Craigslist. Not much info other than well maintained and garaged. Give the person a call for more details. Looks great in the tiny pictures.
1993 BMW R100RT/RS - $8995
Good looking freshly painted RS body work on this monolever RT. Conversion done by the previous owner and will be pinstriped before the sale. Big money for a non factory bike but the gold color was awesome on the older dual shock bikes it came on and looks great on here. The monolever bikes fee quite a bit lighter on the feet to me and you get Brembo’s. Check the trans and heads during your pre purchase inspection. For sale in Florida on CycleTrader.
Built from parts - 1976 r90s - $6995
Cool build that looks cherry. Correct motor and carbs as well as body work that was painted (excellent paint job btw) to match the R90S Daytona Orange theme. Upgraded to stiffer Lester mag wheels as well. Seems cheap for that quality of a paint job these days. For sale in Texas on Cycletrader. The bike seems to have had the engine guards removed recently and unclear if the bike comes with bags.
